SFR's 2013 Bar Guide

April 23, 2013, 12:00 am

Don’t believe the hype: It is not impossible to find food in Santa Fe after 9 pm.

In keeping with Spain’s up-all-night culture, the recently addition of Taberna La Boca (125 Lincoln Ave., 988-7102, tabernasf.com) to Santa Fe’s later-evening scene brings with it an extensive selection of tapas and wine until 11 pm. For New Mexican and American fare, both the Eldorado Hotel’s upscale-upstairs Agave Lounge (309 W San Francisco St., 995-4530) and the Railyard’s more casual, sports-friendly Junction (530 S Guadalupe St., 988-7222) stay open for night owls. But almost invariably, downtown carousers will end up at the Atomic Grill (103 E Water St., 820-2866), which boasts an extensive food menu and stays open until the totally un-Santa Fe hour of 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
