Eyedropper

recreational trash

Is throwing your garbage in an acceptable receptacle the new parkour? Or is doing so the new hard drugs, y'know, only for recreational use? Have you ever seen people just throw garbage out their car windows? Infuriating. This week's Eyedropper, touches on all of the above.

Since there is an amazing amount of poor signage in this town, we've posted the Signmakers' General Rule of Thumb: "Before making a sign, it's best to read its text and consider whether alternate/ambiguous meanings will make you sound like a dumb dummy."

Thanks to Matt Lynch for this image, taken in Pecos, and for the steady stream of submissions.

Show us what has left the back of your eyelids burning. Send pictures of visual trespass and peculiarities to culture [at] sfreporter.com, subject “eyedropper.”
