Are you hip to Santa Fe's Cut+Paste Society? On Sunday at the St. Francis Auditorium, the group of women artists presents 'Revolutions Big' the second part of a community conversation on creativity. The panel includes Linda Durham, Cecile Lipworth and Michelle Otero and is moderated by Alicia Marie Rencountre-Da Silva.

For the uninitiated, what is the Cut+Paste Society?

Cut+Paste Society is a community of woman writers and artists in the Santa Fe area who have been meeting monthly since 2010. Our goal is to bring together our experiences, skills, practices and communities to work beyond our individual spheres of influence. Cut+Paste Society projects include Snow Poems, a community poetry project, and WingSpan Poetry Project, which brings weekly poetry classes to women's shelters in Santa Fe.

What can be expected at "Revolutions Big"?

Alicia Marie Rencontre da Silva will be hosting a conversation with prominent cultural workers Mi'Jan Celie, Linda Durham, Cassandra Reid, Michelle Otero, and Cecile Lipworth. They will be sharing stories of a defining moment in their lives that shaped their creative lives.

How does Santa Fe influence your own artistic expression?

Santa Fe is so gorgeous. I don't know if it's the altitude, the open sky, the mountains, but it makes me look for a higher good in everything I do. (Oh, that's such a Santa Fe answer.) Also, the sheer amount of creativity and smarts here can sometimes make it feel like anything is possible, but to really hone into my unique voice.
