Be A Citizen.

Democracy might be the bedrock of our society, but it sure isn't a top priority for Santa Feans. In the last city election in March 2014, just 29 percent of registered voters bothered to cast a ballot. A general election primary open to registered Democrats and Republicans is set to take place June 3 to choose leaders such as county commissioners, US congressional representatives, the governor, state treasurer and more. On November 4, the general election, open to all voters, seals the deal. Register in person at the County Clerk's Office at 102 Grant Avenue or ask a representative there for a list of other locations that include many state offices, public libraries and colleges by calling 986-6280.
