A Letter from Ray Sandoval

Dear Friends,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you today as a passionate member of the Santa Fe community to advocate for the financial support of our beloved local weekly newspaper and daily website, the Santa Fe Reporter. (Click here to donate now.)

For years, the Santa Fe Reporter has been an indispensable source of information, a dedicated supporter of nonprofit organizations and a leader in promoting annual events that bring our community together. As a committed member of our community, I have personally witnessed the invaluable contributions made by the Santa Fe Reporter time and time again.

One significant example of the Santa Fe Reporter’s involvement is their partnership with Zozobra, where they have played a pivotal role in shaping the Gloom box and ensuring its artistic and thematic relevance each year. This collaboration has added an extra touch of magic and excitement to our cherished annual event, thanks to the Santa Fe Reporter’s expertise and commitment to excellence.

However, the importance of the Santa Fe Reporter extends far beyond its involvement in local events. In a world where reliable and unbiased information is becoming increasingly scarce, the Santa Fe Reporter stands as a beacon of light in our community. Its reporting is characterized by its balance, accuracy and remarkable ability to present complex issues in a manner that is easily understandable to readers of all backgrounds.

From political developments to social issues and cultural happenings, the Santa Fe Reporter offers a unique perspective that enriches our understanding of the world around us. Additionally, the newspaper’s lighthearted approach to reporting ensures that even the not-so-serious items are presented in a quirky, fun and interesting way, appealing to a broad range of readers.

As someone who deeply values the importance of community journalism, I wholeheartedly support our local newspaper, the Santa Fe Reporter, and I encourage you to do the same. By providing financial support, we can ensure the continued presence of this vital institution in our community, serving as a platform for diverse voices, shedding light on local issues and fostering a sense of unity among Santa Fe residents.

I kindly request you consider allocating financial resources to support the Santa Fe Reporter’s ongoing endeavors. Your contribution will not only strengthen the newspaper’s ability to serve our community, but also demonstrate your commitment to the preservation of independent journalism in Santa Fe.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request. I have faith that, together, we can secure a bright and prosperous future for the Santa Fe Reporter and our community as a whole.

Yours sincerely,

Raymond Sandoval
