Revolution Bakery

Though at times it can be easy to write off Revolution Bakery as “just a gluten-free bakery,” it’s much more than that. Around midday, a tantalizing array of breakfast pastries—all of them gluten-free, and all without the slightest hint of cardboardy-ness—takes a back seat to Revolution’s lunch menu, which is varied enough to give even the most obsessive regular plenty of options, from tasty pizzas to hearty salads and an array of sandwiches (served, of course, on gluten-free bread). Dessert is a category unto itself—cookies, cakes, scones and muffins are just the beginning—and customized gluten-free cakes are available for special occasions. The bakery is also a pleasant place to hang out, with free Wi-Fi and tasteful décor in a brightly decorated space. Did we mention they also make a killer gluten-free espresso?
