His focus concerns the active nature of landscapes and the long history of landscape alteration by humans from the beginning to present. Marcus Hamilton is a postdoctoral fellow at the Santa Fe Institute.

Adriana Bustos leads a panel discussion where she discusses her work with the Drug Policy Alliance and Bette Fleishman of the New Mexico Women's Justice Project. Bustos conducts interviews with people involved in some aspect of drug trafficking. These people range from incarcerated women, investigators and local historians. Bustos utilizes drawing, photography and video practice in her highly complex and topical work.
