Marcus Hamilton explores the concept of Unsettled Landscapes and how it is understood from an archaeological, anthropological, and ecological viewpoint. His focus concerns the active nature of landscapes and the long history of landscape alteration by humans from the beginning to present. Marcus Hamilton is a postdoctoral fellow at the Santa Fe Institute.
