Once On This Island, based on the novel My Love, My Love: Or the Peasant Girl by Rosa Guy, is a Caribbean adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's The Little Mermaid featuring dance and music. Book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty. Directed by Gail Springer.
