Three New Exhibits: Opening Reception

MoCNA opens three new exhibits. Stands with a First: Contemporary Native Women Artists shows contemporary Native Women's upheaval of conventional artistic and intellectual roles. The solo exhibition by Interdisciplinary artist Kade L Twist, For Instance, Look at the Ground Beneath Your Feet, examines the linguistic synchronicity made between to two real-estate agents during a conversation. The exhibit focuses on the social representations of land commodification. The third exhibit, Rosalie Favell's Facing the Camera (2008- present), shows Favell's ever increasing portraiture of the Native American arts community's best loved but least documented artists. All through July 31
