Santa Fe Forward and the Santa Fe Green Chamber of Commerce present a conversation between Robert Redford and Mayor Javier Gonzales. Join us for this discussion on the intersection of activism, arts and the environment. Robert Redford is an ardent conservationist and environmentalist, a man who stands for social responsibility and political involvement, and an artist and businessman who is a staunch supporter of uncompromised creative expression. He is recognized across the world for the roles he has played and the projects he has directed or produced throughout his distinguished stage and film career. Redford has nurtured more than a generation of innovative voices in independent film and documentaries through his nonprofit Sundance Institute and Film Festival. Javier Gonzales is known for his progressive vision and inclusive style. A lifelong resident of the City Different, his family has deep roots here. As mayor of Santa Fe, Javier is actively pursuing making Santa Fe the leader in the green economy, diversifying our economy, promoting our youth, making Santa Fe safer for its citizens and continuing to grow this amazing city.
