5:30-7 pm, Jan 16, 2013 | free

Richard Swenson's sculpture work is expansive and imaginative. David Trujillo is also featured in this exhibition. The show contains "an intriguing puzzle of parts for adults and a visual delight for all ages." There are wild hogs, giraffes, whales, dragons, armadillos, porcupines and a series of abstract humans, all made from different pieces of scrap metal.

Aftermath: reactions to cataclysm and evolution

Friday, Oct 09, 2015
Freeform Art Space is pleased to present the first solo show of Kelly Eckel’s work in Santa Fe, curated by Aimee Gwynne Franklyn. Eckel’s vision is inspired by her reactions to violence, transformation, societal narcissism, and the fractiousness of the natural world. Through an exacting process, she transposes her observations using the media of photography, printmaking, and drawing. Her representations of evolution challenge our traditional ideas of “progress” and how we develop as a species.
