For the opener of High Mayhem’s Fall Series, David Dunn/JA Dino Deane Duo performs experimental variations of jazz, classical, world music and more on self-built instruments. Thollem McDonas brings his incomparable piano compositions from the Bay Area; Alchemical Burn provides analog noise and soundscapes; and Roland (of We Drew Lightning and Derail fame) uses guitars, samples and keyboards to get all weird. The whole event is hosted by Tuesday Eve.

Swing Soleil at the Zia Diner

Swing Soleil is a new Santa Fe based band of experienced musicians who perform classics from the Franco-American songbook. Centered on tunes featured by Django Reinhardt(Belleville, Daphne', Blue Drag) and American treasures from the Gershwins and Fats Waller Swing Soleil expands to occasional blues tunes and bossa novas. Swing Soleil is Gemma DeRagon, violin; Pat Longmire and Charlie Freeman, guitars and Dave Dillman, string bass. Zia Diner features a wide ranging menu from light snacks to full meals and a full bar featuring draft beers from around the world to exotic cocktails.
