Cattle Decapitation Goes All-Ages

Good news for underage metalheads

Hot on the heels of our totally amazing writeup on local metal band Yar comes exciting news for Santa Fe metalheads who haven’t hit 21 yet—the Cattle Decapitation show on Jan. 10 is now an all-ages event.

“The promoters got requests wondering why the show wasn’t all-ages because previous shows had been, [but] all-ages shows carry a lot of risk due to the circumstantial nature of Alcohol Game & Fish enforcement,” promoter and head of Kronos Creative Augustine Ortiz tells SFR. “However, even the venue received a considerable amount of calls and inquiries, so they decided to manage the risk and invite all ages for the show.”

Ortiz believes that the show will surely sell out at this point and urges fans to check holdmyticket.com or contact bands via Facebook as soon as possible.

“If they sell out online, contact the local bands…they’ll be your only hope.”

Godspeed, young metal fans, and don’t forget to thank Kronos Creative and Metal World Radio for putting the show together, plus The Locker Room for hearing you and being on your side. That’s actually pretty rare around here.
