Voter Guides Attempt to Sort Out City Contest

Polling places open Tuesday from 7 am to 7 pm

With just one last day before the polls open for the Santa Fe Municipal Election, candidates and their supporters and advocates for city charter changes are making a final push for voters. Here’s a collection of guides produced by various community groups in an attempt to help you sort it out:

League of Women Voters, a longstanding nonpartisan group with a reputation for careful deliberation, puts out a comprehensive guide before most elections.

What do candidates say about transportation issues? Chainbreakers, a nonprofit that works on transit as a way to address environmental sustainability for low-income communities, asked candidates to answer questions.

Progress Now NM, a state branch affiliated with a larger national group, says it’s not advocating for candidates, but rather wanted to give them a platform to talk about “progressive issues.”
