SFPD Takes to Crowdsourcing for New Slogan

To protect and unnerve

The Santa Fe Police Department wants you to come up with its new slogan.

From an SFPD news release: The goal is to put into words what makes our department unique and special from others across the nation. We are looking for a SLOGAN to be used as a part of an overall marketing/recruiting campaign. Having a distinct brand will not only serve as recruitment tool helping to attract those looking for jobs in law enforcement to the City Different, but it will also serve as a point of pride for residents and officers alike. SFPD says to submit ideas on its Facebook page, under its Twitter hashtag, #brandingSFPD, by emailing ckwestervelt@santafenm.gov or via mail: Attn: Branding SFPD 2515 Camino Entrada Santa Fe, NM 87505. Deadlines for submissions are Jan. 10.

As a prize, says SFPD, the winner will be recognized before the governing body and will receive free admission to an SFPD's citizens academy of their choosing.
