SFR's Gloom Box is Open for business!

Quick: What is holding you back? Problems with your partner? Memories of your ex? Credit card debt? A nasty case of herpes? (OK, I might be projecting on that last one.)

Well, bring it over to SFR headquarters (not the last one, please) and deposit old pictures, bank statements, a pack of cigs or whatever it is that's eating you away inside our Gloom Box!

A little brother to Zozobra crafted by yours truly (with the help of some cheap beer and some moderately-priced crafting supplies), SFR's Gloom Box will burn, baby, burn alongside its 60-foot counterpart on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Fort Marcy Park (details and tickets here).

A longstanding community tradition, our Gloom Box is the perfect solution to alleviate your woes (not to mention, way more legal than hiring a hit-man.)

Come feed it, M-F during normal business hours at the SFR mothership (132 E Marcy St.)

Need more of a push? This sweet commercial featuring an animated Mayor Coss is sure to do the trick:
