Back to Bass-ics

By Loren Bienvenu
bass alignment AudioBuddha, who spins at Rouge Cat, Blackbird Buvette and private parties, is included in a new electronic dance music compilation.

His song, "I love You" (click to hear) is an original mix that combines the new and old—reverbed violin and flute sounds, layered over a pulsing drum beat, electronic effects and the occasional sample of a woman saying breathily (you guessed it) "I love you."

With its weighty bass component, the track fits in perfectly on the compilation, curated by international producer Smoke Sign, and titled Bass Alignment.

The album was released March 7 on Amazon and is prominently featured on well-respected EDM site Beatport.

AudioBuddha informs SFR that there is the potential for a solo, full-length release on the same label later this spring or summer.
