Journal: Former US Sen. Pete Domenici Fathered Son Out of Wedlock
The Albuquerque Journal reports that former US Sen. Pete Domenici has gone public about his son

This morning, the Albuquerque Journal reports that former US Sen. Pete Domenici, R-NM, fathered a son out of wedlock.
According to the Journal, Domenici and the son's mother, Washington lobbyist and political commentator Michelle Laxalt, decided to go public with the story because they suspected other sources would reveal it.
Domenici's son with Laxalt, Adam Laxalt, is a lawyer with Lewis and Roca in Las Vegas, Nev.
Domenici, 80, lives in Washington, DC, with his wife. He served as New Mexico's Republican senator from 1973-2009 and stumped for GOP Senate candidate Heather Wilson in her failed bid to replace Jeff Bingaman last fall.
