By Joey Peters
Weekly-Word

Weekly Word is here, albeit a little late this week due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. This week, Matt Grubs of New Mexico PBS and New Mexico in Focus discusses the latest twists and turns of the 2013 Legislative Session with hosts Joey Peters and Matthew Reichbach of SFR and New Mexico Telegram, respectively.

This latest podcast, recorded at the Roundhouse, delves into many bills presented at the legislature on topics the driver's license issue, cyberbullying, abortion, pit bulls, gay marriage and more. We also recap some of the goofiest bills introduced yet and talk about the latest rumors surrounding Sen. Tom Udall.

Grubs, a former Texas resident, is even pressed into telling us where he thinks the real cowboys live—New Mexico or Texas?
