And, in the shameless self-promo category: Enrique Limón, SFR's arts & culture editor, has been awarded the prestigious USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism fellowship.

Limón is one of just 15 arts journalists, web designers and developers from around the country to win a fellowship this year, out of 257 applicants from 57 countries. In November, he will travel to Los Angeles to work with other fellows on creating a next-generation pop-up newsroom called Engine30.

“I’m thrilled to be part of this hand-selected group and bring a little of my newly acquired enchantment to the City of Angels,” Limón says.

“Since my appointment as A&C editor at the Reporter, Santa Fe’s artistic community has welcomed me with open arms. I look forward to represent it during this fellowship, and spread the disposition, natural curiosity and insight that Santa Feans are known for.”

He adds: “Also, Los Angeles hosts an amazing adult theater where I became a man.”

SFR is thrilled to send one of its journalists to learn from USC's talented staff and looks forward to Limón's incorporating his new skills into our arts coverage.
