PHOTOS, VIDEO: Santa Fe Markets Itself at SXSW

Wish you were at South by Southwest? Live vicariously through the folks who are--a cadre of Santa Feans with the dual purpose of having fun and marketing the City Different.

For those of you who haven't realized, South by Southwest (abbreviated as "SXSW") is the super-awesome music festival that descends upon Austin, Texas, every spring.

It's happening this week, and a group of Santa Feans are there in order to, according to a recent press release, to conduct a "gorilla marketing attack" focused on bringing attention to economic development efforts and the film industry in Santa Fe and statewide.

City Economic Development Specialist Kate Noble is one of them, along with local outfit Todd and the Fox, film industry representatives and the talented chefs of the Santa Fe School of Cooking and gifted distillers of Santa Fe Spirits.

Noble sends along the following pics and video of Todd and the Fox jamming from atop the Santa Fe van, along with the following comment:

For those of you unable to make it to Austin, don't forget that Santa Fe enjoys its own musical perks this week at the SxSF Transit Music Festival, with shows at Sol Santa Fe ongoing through the weekend. Read The Curator's exhortation to enjoy it here.
