The experimental performance troupe Theater Grottesco sent a press release over to SFR yesterday, announcing that it received an National Endowment for the Arts grant to support This is Life as We Know It, a play that examines "the effect of American pop culture on individual isolation," the release says.

The NEA awarded $10,000 to Theater Grottesco out of a total of $22.5 million to 863 projects nationwide, as part of its Art Works grant initiative. The sum represents the 13th grant bestowed on TG by the NEA.
