THURSDAY: Free Drinks for Breast Cancer!

By Alexa Schirtzinger
mix-is-pink

If you're not already planning to check out the Santa Fe Indie Film Festival, join the fab folks of MIX Santa Fe for food, drinks and an awesome tit-print booth.

Check out MIX at the Inn & Spa at Loretto tonight from 6-8 pm.

What's cool about this MIX:

  1. As usual, you get a free drink if you take a quick survey—but this time, the survey's online, so you can get your name on the drinks list ahead of time. Efficiency!
  2. It's breast cancer awareness month (in case you haven't noticed all the NFL players wearing pink), so for this event, MIX teamed up with the awesome, local, alt-medicine Breast Wishes Fund and will feature a "tit print booth" as a means of raising awareness. Details, via MIX:
Far from lascivious, the prints are fun, abstract, beautiful, only partly titillating pieces of body art that have to be seen (or made) to believe....

We're going to playing at lush and lounge-tastic LIVING ROOM bar at the INN and SPA at LORETTO--just the right vibe for welcome, crisp weather.

Speaking of breast cancer, Breast Wishes will also host an all-day, free educational forum this Saturday. Learn about alternative remedies and easy things you can do to prevent breast cancer.

For more information, visit breastwishesfund.org or stop by the Center for Progress and Justice (1420 Cerrillos Road) between 10 am-6 pm this Saturday.
