SFR Nominated for Awards in Multimedia, Innovation

 Today, the Association for Alternative Newsweeklies announced the finalists for its 2011 awards. SFR earned nominations in two categories, Innovation/Format Buster and Multimedia.

In the Multimedia category, which includes all alternative weekly publications regardless of circulation size, SFR won accolades for its coverage of the 2010 elections

Three other publications also were nominated.

In the Innovation/Format Buster category for weekly newspapers with circulation under 50,000, SFR won recognition for Anatomy of a Downfall, an interactive timeline chronicling the missteps that led to Santa Fe County Sheriff Greg Solano's descent into selling sheriff's office goods on eBay.
