Happy Easter/Halloween

By Rani Molla
eye-dropper-150x150.t3.jpg Happy Easter—the least celebratory holiday if you're areligious, geographically removed from extended family and  older than 6. To make matters worse for the above, if you happen to be visiting Santa Fe or taking a stay-cation this past weekend at La Fonda Hotel, you also had this unsettling Easter gem with which to contend.

Oh. God. No.

This Easter window scene comes to us from Things Finer, a antique and contemporary jewelery store located within the hotel. The individual fare the store offers is expected—the display, however, is frightening.

Are those rabbits alive? Where'd they get that getup? Are those polyps? Who's on the loose with unlimited reserves of sequins. What's going on?

This is not Easter tableau. This is a Halloween nightmare.
