No Les Gusta: MSNBC Shows Opposition to Gov. Susana Martinez

Voting results: 39% pro, 50% con

New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez makes MSNBC's list of "10 Latino Politicians to Watch"--but that doesn't mean readers love her.

---

In light of recently released 2010 census data showing significant population growth among the country's Latino population, MSNBC posted a list of the top 10 Latino politicians to watch. Topping out the list is Republican US Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida.

New Mexico's own Susana Martinez made #7--but voting results on the site don't favor her. There are four possible votes: LOL, OMG (newly minted dictionary words, both), "I LIKE" and VETO.

As of this Saturday, 39 percent of viewers picked "I LIKE"--but 50 percent handed Martinez a VETO. Then again, that's about par for the course with MSNBC's readership; other Republicans on the list (which contains five each of Republicans and Dems) polled roughly the same.

Here's the full list:

1. Florida US Sen. Marco Rubio, (R)

2. Hilda Solis, US Secretary of Labor (D)

3. Julián Castro, mayor of San Antonio, Texas (D)

4. Washington US Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, (R)

5. Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval (R)

6. Texas state Rep. Rafael Anchia, (D)

7. New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez (R)

8. Idaho US Rep. Raúl Labrador, (R)

9. California state Sen. Alex Padilla (D)

10. California State Assembly Speaker John Perez (D)
