For this week's Gallery Gawker, we headed to Changing Gallery for Fresh Goods and Staples and Box Gallery for Ted Laredo's Afterglow. See video after the jump.

Changing Gallery holds one-off art exhibitions in long-empty real estate sites. This exhibition was held in the Palace Avenue Grocery Store and featured the work of Mark Frossard, Laird Hovland, Willow Howard and Carole Langrall.

For this week's art review, we went to Box Gallery for Ted Laredo's Afterglow exhibition. In it, he creates personality-filled geometric shapes, usually boxes, out of cotton twill tape, acrylic paint and glass micro beads. The beads make it so that the workswhich Laredo requests be viewed only in natural lightchange throughout the day, depending on the light. This is possible at night as well, since the works are glow in the dark.

Afterglow is up through March 5.
