Did anyone see the fiestas aftermath, in particular all the garbage strewn on the downtown and parade route streets? What a shame that the city doesn't provide enough trash receptacles, and that the attendees seem to just throw refuse down wherever they are. I live in this neighborhood, and it's disheartening to say the least to see the streets littered with plastic bottles, styrofoam cups and plates, napkins, food refuse and the like. The garbage problem at fiestas is getting worse every year, and it's something the fiestas organizers and city need to address before it gets completely out of hand.
