I'm in Precinct 51 and went to Chaparral at 7:30 this morning to vote only to find yellow tape blocking both driveways and equipment trucks parked in one of them. There were no signs about voting so I left. When I got to work I called the County Clerk's office. I was told they were aware of the situation and were working to rectify it and to put up visible voting signs. However, as the anticipated turn out is low, this only discouraged people who wanted to vote from doing so. However, I will return to Chaparral after 5:00 though.
