NMI: "Trujillo to ask for recount in race against Speaker Ben Lujan"

Low turnout surely worked in Trujillo's favor, as roughly one in four voters bothered to make a pick in the District 46 race.

Even Yvonne Quintana, the Española lawyer who was thoroughly eviscerated by the Rio Grande Sun in the weeks before the election, got more votes for her failed judicial bid than incumbent house speaker Ben Luján and Trujillo combined.

That's a pre-election photo of Trujillo, by the way.
