The Candyman Center wants to entice you with audible treats this weekend to lure you into their confectionary abode. And once it has you there...it wants to show you what a nice new space it has.

The addition is Little Wing, a multi-use performance space that seats about 80 people. Intended to be a musical meeting ground for musicians developed and developing, old and young, local and exotic, Little Wing houses vast plans: workshops, clinics, ensembles and, of course, performances.

Little Wing inaugurates itself with The Grand Opening Benefit Weekend, which will be true to its name.  With close to 30 scheduled performances, a display by local visual artists as well as dancing, the jam-packed weekend is hopefully a prediction for Little Wing's future. As for the musical line-up, you can sample Balkan folk music by Rumelia, rock by the Proxemics, progressive jazz by Quarkchaser, and funky house music by DJ Joolz, and much much more.

Delicious.
