I was pretty much blown away by last year's Poetry Jam, presented by New Mexico CultureNet. Can't lie. I was totally flabbergasted and twitterpated and bamboozled and whatever other words you want to come up with that sound quite silly but all basically say the same thing.

In celebration of this year's Poetry Jam, I hereby present you some marvelous photos from last year's Poetry Jam. A great time was had by all, and hopefully this wee slide show will inspire you to check out this year's event. It will be different from last year's in that the public reading will be a presentation of pieces written by workshop participants throughout the day—but we're pretty sure the energy and vibrancy will be the same.



Poetry Jam 2009 was held on April 16 at the Lensic Performing Arts Center.
