Belated Activism

By Rani Molla
In what appears to be a belated act of protest, activists have altered  this Española gas station's sign to say "Fuk U Coke." The message is in response to allegations that Coca Cola had a hand in having many of its South American union organizers killed by right-wing death squads...a decade ago (that's how the soda gets its bubbles!). Better late than never, right?

Show us what has left the back of your eyelids burning. Send pictures of visual trespass and peculiarities to copyeditor [at] sfreporter.com, subject “eyedropper.”
