When I was young, my father taught me to rappell. My brothers taught me to ski the steeps, and college boyfriend taught me to bike them. The Banff Mountain Film Festival taught me that everything I've ever done is child's play.

It's true. With some of the best outdoor films around, the Banff festival blends nature and travel with balls-out adventure. It's humbling, but it's also the ultimate inspiration.
