In District 1—that's Russell Simon vs. Doug Nava vs. Councilor Chris Calvert—there are 15,311 registered voters. In District 2—Councilor Rebecca Wurzburger vs. Stefanie Beninato—there are 11,896 registered voters.

Once the returns start coming in this evening, we'll be able to see whether Journal North editor Mark Oswald's

turn out to be correct.
