Santa Fe County Sheriff Offers New Crime Maps

By Alexa Schirtzinger
Ever wanted to know where the last Santa Fe homicide happened? Well, even if you didn't, here's a little something for the inner voyeur in us all: As of today, the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office has new, interactive crime maps.

They're searchable by address, city or crime type, and you can click a box to see the registered sex offenders near you—which, in my case, was mildly shocking. Santa Fe has 63, according to the maps, but some are "unmappable." Anyway, go play with the crime map. It's kind of fun—and there's even an iPhone app.
