Don't expect the Rapture, nevertheless La Pocha Nostra have involeved "a Muslim body-robe, dances with barbed wire, rifles, nudity, bullhorns, live acupuncture, and a general techno-shamanistic-Mexican-paramilitary-S&M aesthetic." U.S. / Latino performance art pioneers and art and academic world darlings Assistant Professor of Performance at the Chicago Institute of Art Roberto Sifuentes and MacArthur Fellow Gómez-Peña are holed up for two weeks at SFAI collaborating on their latest book, Radical Performance Pedagogy.
