We're on Another List!

By Rani Molla
From the mixed-up files of my inane inbox comes but another inane list—and, of course, we're on it! Stoodthere.com has created a list called "100 Greatest Place To Stand In The United States 2009," not to be confused with last year's "100 Greatest Place To Sit In The United States" or 2007's dubious "100 Greatest Place To Stand In The United States With Your Eyes Closed."

Anyway, there are five locations in New Mexico—one in Santa Fe—voted to be special enough that people would want to stand there when they could stand anywhere in America.

The early results are listed below, but voting goes on till December, so go ahead, cement the area on another list.

      • 8 Carlsbad Caverns

      • 38 San Miguel Chapel in Santa Fe

      • 60 Navajo National Monument in Shiprock

      • 64 Taos Pueblo

      • 90 Roswell UFO Museum

      • Currently 3.5/5 Stars.
