Got a call from Mara Taub from the Coalition for Prisoners' Rights this morning that Amnesty International and the Coalition were going to be rallying on the Plaza from noon to 1pm to support of Troy Davis, a Georgia death row inmate scheduled for execution. According to news reports, he's got a pretty strong innocence claim.
These demonstrations seemed to be going on around the planet.
