Santa Fe, did you know you had your very own official roller derby team? What about a Duke City league with a national/travel team composed almost half by Santa Feans? Well you do. Santa Fe Disco Brawlers battles Albuquerque's Hotbots, while Duke City Derby's travel team, Muñecas Muertas, takes on the Derby Dolls of San Diego. It all goes down 6 pm this Saturday at the teams' new (and pretty much first) venue, the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho. Whether you're a seasoned Derbyphile or foreigner to the sport, come check out what all the fuss is about. Booze and beatings will be served.
