Eyedropper

Multicultural lovefest

By Rani Molla
Show us what has left the back of your eyelids burning. Send pictures of visual trespass and peculiarities to copyeditor [at] sfreporter.com, subject “eyedropper.”

Thanks to spice guru and humanitarian Sloan Cunningham for the image.

This image was taken at Food Depot's Souper Bowl benefit, which in a very un-American way had nothing to do with football. Instead, local restaurants held a soup competition as a way to help end hunger in New Mexico. This image was found at the O'Keeffe Café's table, and no, it is not a soup, but perhaps the makings of one. Note the multiculturalism: a Zia made out of turmeric and curry.
