Dropping out like it's hot

By Rani Molla
The position of Commerce Secretary has become the new Program Director of Abu Ghraib or Post-Bush President when it comes to being the Most Unappealing Job Ever. Senator Judd Gregg, R-NH, has just withdrawn his nomination, barely a week after his selection, as a result of "irresolvable conflicts" with the Obama administration, according to The New York Times. Two months ago, New Mexico's very own Bill Richardson was in line for the position when he too had to withdraw, citing pay-to-play turmoil with which he has yet to be charged. So, for those of you searching for jobs in Santa Fe, perhaps you should widen your horizons and check out DC; I hear there is some secretary thingy hiring.
