Santa Fe School Board Elections Quiet, but Bring Change

By Julia Goldberg
Martin Lujan, who also had a failed run for Santa Fe City Council last year, was ousted from his board position for Santa Fe Public Schools by Barbara Gudwin. Frank Moñtano, the other incumbent, appears to have held onto his seat by a very small margin against construction company owner Peter Brill, but the final tally is so tight, who knows what will happen when the final canvass occurs on Friday?

Here are the unofficial returns from the Santa Fe County Clerk's Office.

After losing his school board seat on Feb. 3, Lujan is down to just one job: managing the GC3.
