Spinifex has been spinning records since he could get his head and hands inside the Sylvania console stereo his parents had in their living room.  He has also been a collector of many types of music, with his music understanding and collection growing exponentially over the years.

Spinifex has been DJing around town at various venues and special event since 2000.

Spinifex produces the Twisted Groove radio show on Saturday evenings from 10pm to midnight on KSFR.

There has been rumors that Spinifex = David Barsanti who is a famed drummer around town.  These rumors have not yet been proven.
