It might be just a little early to offer up musically-based gift suggestions, but I got to thinking that if, like me, you can’t take another 8 am dash to Giant on Dec. 25 and the sadness that comes with gifting someone a $6 gas station copy of Joyride.
Why all the sudden interest in Nirvana? Well, besides that they are one of my favorite bands of all time—and I’m still seething with the rage that comes from not having been at this show despite complaints of high volume—a new coffee table book about Nirvana has recently been released by Voyageur Press.
Meet Talia Kosh, the founder of local non-profit organization New Mexico Lawyers for the Arts and all-around do-gooder. Kosh founded NMLFA in 2008 to provide pro-bono advice to New Mexico artists, filmmakers and musicians.
