Highlights of the SFPS Calendar:

April 25, 2014, 12:00 am

Early dismissals happen each Friday for elementary students at about 1 pm.

Students in Santa Fe Public Schools can expect to spend about 176 days each school year inside the classroom.

May 20: Last Day of School
(Early Release Day for Students)

May 22: Santa Fe High School Graduation (am) Snow Makeup Day, if Necessary

May 23: Capital High School Graduation (am)
Summer vacation!


August 14: Freshmen Jump Start for Capital and Santa Fe High Schools

August 18: First day of School for Students in Grades 1-12

August 18-19: Kindergarten Kick off

August 20: First day of School for Kindergarten Students

September 1: Labor Day Holiday
(District Closed)

October 17: End of First Quarter

October 24: Parent-Teacher Conferences, K-12

October 27: Parent-Teacher Conferences, K-5, K-6, K-8 (Middle and high school students report to school)

November 4: General Election Day
(Schools Closed)

November 26-28: Thanksgiving Break
(District Closed)

December 19: End of Second Quarter
Early Release of students at all schools.

December 22-January 2: Winter Break

January 12: Parent-Teacher Conferences K-12

January 19: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
(District Closed)

February 13: District In-service
(No School for all students)

February 16: Presidents Day
(District Closed)

March 11: End of 3rd Quarter
Parent-Teacher Conferences, K-5, K-6, K-8, and middle schools
(High school students report to school)

March 30 to April 1: Spring Break

May 21: End of 4th Quarter, Last Day of School
