Be Heard.

Even though you only have a chance to vote a few times each year at most, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in policies that control how we treat one another and what we feel is important. For example, every other Wednesday night, the City Council holds a 7 pm meeting with an agenda item called "Matters from the Public." All you have to do is show up at 200 Lincoln Ave. and tell them what's on your mind. Santa Fe County does the same thing on its first and third Tuesday meetings at 102 Grant Ave. For details on when its public comment sessions begins, call the county manager's office at 986-6200.
