Deadline Extended for SFR's Project Art Box!

May 21, 2013, 9:00 pm

You've probably seen the call for artists in our big Summer Arts Preview and you're wondering what this is all about.

Well, SFR is looking for a few good men (and women) to embellish one of our iconic street boxes for a special one-night-only art exhibit celebrating our forthcoming 39th anniversary.

Yep, we're getting old.

After the show, they will be strategically placed throughout town for thousands to see

* All original sketches should be submitted to Enrique Limón, A&C editor no later than Wednesday, June 5 to culture@sfreporter.com

* Boxes should be functional and include SFR's logo (no other logos permitted)

* Final designs should be able to withstand the elements

* Box dimensions are 36" high x 16 ½" wide at the front and 20" deep

* No phone calls, please

So what are you waiting for? Submit your design today and help us get the work out.

Details on the one-night-only exhibit can be found here.
