How to ArtFeast

Dos, don’ts and notes on mixing food and art

By Rani Molla, Zane Fischer

After many years of attending ARTFeast, which raises more than $100,000 annually for arts education, SFR has developed a few ideas about how to tackle the main event.

The Edible Art Tour pairs 40 downtown and Canyon Road galleries and restaurants for an incomparable art walk. To maximize your art, food and social intake: Do pair noodle dishes with surrealism; don’t make sudden gestures with your fork; remember that very few schmancy galleries like to put large trash cans on public display, so be prepared to wander around with soiled dinnerware.

This year, we pull back the curtain and share our pre-Edible Art Tour bulletin board of strategies and reminders.
