Best Hair Salon

for your Tresses and Braids

1 Rock Paper Scissor Salonspa
301 N. Guadalupe St.
505-955-8500

Santa Fe’s best salon is housed beautifully, all the better to make you beautiful, my dear: a large high-ceilinged room, hardwood floors, mirrors, artistic renderings of various beautiful ladies with beautiful locks, lots of natural light, and walls in bright aqua and purple. The salon’s strength comes from the staff members, who are both well-trained and well-treated: health benefits and more-than-living wages keep morale high. The combination of training and treatment makes for a staff skilled at creating repeat clients, as the salon’s placement in BOSF shows. Rock Paper Scissor Salonspa also gives back to the community through a smattering of charities; it donate its services to the National Dance Institute and sends the proceeds from face painting and hair braiding at local festivals to United Way. But most of all, Rock Paper Scissor is about the customers. As creative director and owner Melody Wysf-Feliciano says, “What can I say? They’re happy, we’re happy.” (Caroline K Gorman)

I can't believe that this place continues to be on top, have you asked how many complaints they have with the barbers association here in Sta Fe? Or the amount of women that I have met that have nothing good to say about this place? I had a horrible ordeal with them as so many more listed on yelp. Is time to stop resting on your laurels.
